In plain terms
A leak, explained
A stain on the ceiling is the symptom. The cause is usually a slipped slate, a cracked tile, a failed flashing, a gutter joint, or mortar missing from a chimney. Water can run along a rafter before it drips, so the mark indoors is not always directly under the hole.
We come out and look, including after wind and driving rain, which is when many leaks around Hessle and Hull first show. The repair is the cause, not a tube of mastic over the stain. If an insurer is involved, we set out what we found and what needs doing so it is clear.
We do this from Hessle, across Hull, Beverley, Anlaby and Anlaby Common, Willerby, Woodmansey and the villages in between. Call 01482 627895 or use the form further down. We look at the roof before we price it. A written quote is available if you want one, and the work we agree is guaranteed for at least 12 months, and often for longer depending on the job.
